Alayna | Senior Interview

Now that the class of 2024 Senior Team has wrapped up, it’s time for the Senior Interviews! Today, we have ALAYNA! I had such a good time with her. Here is what she had to say!

What are your post-high school plans? If you've chosen a school, what will your major be?
Major in business management.

Which accomplishments are you most proud of this year?
Challenging myself academically and being a captain of the soccer and lacrosse team.

What piece of advice would you give to upcoming seniors?
Don’t think of the future too much, try to live in the moment and cherish it.

What was your favorite part of being a KRP Real Senior?
I enjoyed being a part of the fun themed shoots!

Laurynn | Class of 2023 Senior Team

It’s hard to believe we are winding down with the class of 2023. It feels like we JUST started with their run! For those of you familiar with the program, you know that winding down means it’s time for our Senior Interviews!! We are starting off with Miss Laurynn, representing CASH:

What high school do you attend?:
Conneaut Area Senior High

If you've chosen the school or university you're planning to attend, and been accepted, please share! :
University of North Carolina Wilmington

What are your post-high school plans? If you've chosen a school, what will your major be?:
I plan to major in exercise science on a pre physical therapy path hoping to specialize in sport and/or pediatric physical therapy. I also hope to minor in economics.

Which accomplishments are you most proud of this year?:
I am most proud of being a captain for my soccer team for my second year in a row, and helping my team get their first ever region championship in our schools history. I am also proud of my academic achievements and being treasurer of the nhs.

What piece of advice would you give to upcoming seniors?:
Enjoy it while it lasts, it goes fast

What was your favorite part of being a KRP Real Senior?:
All the fun sessions, especially my summer session, and the apple cider and donuts at the last one!

Miss G | A Fall Session

Watching a child grow is a remarkable experience! As a photographer, being able to capture a child's milestones and growth through the lens of a camera is truly an honor. It's amazing to see how much they can change in just a few short months or years, and it's a privilege to be able to document that growth through photography.

From their first days as a newborn to their first steps, and beyond, every moment is precious and worth capturing. As a photographer, it's important to build a relationship with the child and their family, so that they feel comfortable and relaxed during the session. This allows the child's personality and unique qualities to shine through in the photos.

As time goes on, it's incredible to see how the child's interests and passions evolve and develop. From playing with toys and games, to participating in sports, academics, various hobbies, or musical activities, each phase of their life is worth documenting.

One of the most rewarding aspects is being able to provide the family with a tangible way to remember those special moments. When parents look back at the photos, they can relive those memories and see how far their child has come.

Miss G is no exception. Photographing her growth into a beautiful young woman, has been a fantastic experience, and one that I am proud to be a part of.

Alayna | A Teen Session

Teenage years are a time of rapid growth and transformation. These years are filled with milestones such as prom, graduation, and other important events. As a parent, you want to capture these special moments and hold onto them forever. Booking a photo shoot for your teen is a great way to do just that.

A photo shoot will help your teen build self-confidence. Professional photographers know how to capture your teen's best angles and features, and they can make your teen feel like a superstar. This boost in self-confidence can carry over into other areas of your teen's life, such as school and social interactions.

It's also a great opportunity for your teen to express themselves. Whether they want to show off their unique style or highlight their favorite hobbies and interests, a session is a chance for your teen to be themselves and have fun in front of the camera.

Lastly, they provides lasting memories. As your teen grows older, they will appreciate having these photos to look back on and remember their youth. These photos can be passed down to future generations and serve as a cherished family heirloom.

Not only is it a great way for your teen to capture their individuality and create lasting memories, but it's an investment in their self-confidence, and a way to celebrate their unique journey through, what can often be, a challenging time.

Octavian | A Senior Session

It’s difficult to find words for this one. I’ve known him for over 12 years. He and my son played soccer together for years. They rocked their little (and not-so-little) mohawks and played their hearts out. His mom and I stood on the sidelines together, cheering loudly, at every match. It’s really hard to believe that little boy is now a young man and will be graduating high school in just a few short months.

I am not okay.

I imaging if I am not okay, then his mama is REALLY not okay.

All that said, check out this guy. Not only is he an amazing athlete, but he is also one of the kindest souls. Although time and distance has come between us over the years, this family will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart.

Ginger | A Senior Session

Ginger. What can I say? She just absolutely knocked this session out of the park. Trying to narrow images down for this post was a JOB, when she looks like a model in every shot!! Not only is she stunning, but she’s fun, too. We had such a great time! Here’s a look into my session with Ginger!

Zhanna | A Senior Session

When Zhanna’s mom reached out to me about doing this senior session, I was so excited! I’ve known Zhanna since she was very young and I am still having a hard time believing she has graduated!!

She is a smart, beautiful, unique soul and I am sure she will do amazing things! Check out the fabulous Zhanna!

The fabulous Miss G is growing up entirely too quickly. I’ve been photographing her since before she was walking, and now she is quite an amazing young woman! Alex | KRP Real Senior

Miss G | A Fall Session

I have had the immense pleasure of photographing Miss G each year since she was just a wee baby. It’s always so amazing to watch them grow and change. Now Miss G is a beautiful young lady with an amazing spirit! I just love it!

Natalie | KRP Real Senior

I met with Natalie for her senior session, and instantly learned that she and her family are amazing! We had such a great time talking and laughing. Natalie is a pretty incredible young woman, and I know she will do great things!

Miss L | A Summer Session

Miss L is a radiant, vibrant young lady who is so much fun to watch! During our time together, she was spinning and jumping and swinging! Her energy and light are just beautiful!!

Miss G | A Fall Children's Session

I have been photographing the lovely Miss G since she was just 9 months old. There is something so magical about having the opportunity to watch little ones grow, and being able to capture those different stages of life, year after year. I really feel honored. Miss G has grown into a pretty amazing young lady. Her parents have done an outstanding job, and I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes in life!

Chelsea | KRP Real Senior

I’m getting really excited about the upcoming senior season, so what better way to prepare, than by blogging another one of my class of 2020 seniors?! Today, you get to meet Chelsea!!

What are your post-high school plans? If you've chosen a school, what will your major be?: 
After high school I plan on going to school to become a meteorologist. I have not yet chosen my school.

What accomplishments are you most proud of this year?: 
The accomplishment I am most proud of this year would have to be finding out what I deserve and finding my own self.

What was your favorite part of being a KRP Real Senior?: 
My favorite part was meeting new people from other schools and learning what their future plans were. It was always comforting to know that others were still somewhat undecided on what they wanted to do when they grow up.

Mikayla | KRP Real Senior

What a better day, than senior Sunday, to share with you one of the members of the KRP Real Senior Team from the class of 2019!? Mikayla is a ray of sunshine! Each time we met up, she made me smile. She is truly a great person! Here is a glimpse of her sessions, and a peek into what she’s like!

I will be going to LTI in September for cosmetology and hopefully working at Aella when I graduate in 2021!

What accomplishments are you most proud of this year?: 
I’m most proud of being the soccer captain this year!

What was your favorite part of being a KRP Real Senior?: 
My favorite part was definitely getting to know Kelly and the locations we picked for our sessions!!

Hello, lovelies! It’s that time of year again…the annual KRP Senior Team search! I am accepting applications for those graduating in 2020 from ALL local high schools. Tucker | KRP Real Senior

I had the chance to spend an evening this past summer doing a senior session with Tucker. Not only is he a hard working, well-spoken young man, but he’s also a pretty fantastic Cross Country athlete. At the time of the session my son was on the fence about joining the XC team, himself, and after talking to Tucker and his mom about it, I knew I could convince him to give it a “go”. My son ended up joining the team and would tell me about how one of the really nice high school boys would help the middle school students and encourage them. I don’t know how many of you spend time with seniors, but let me tell you…THAT is awesome. He made such a good impression on P and I am so grateful for that.

In addition to being kind and athletic, he also knew how to work the camera. He pretty much rocked this session (so did Jackson!)!

Ethan | KRP Real Senior

As a football player, Ethan knew that scheduling a session during the fall would be a bit difficult, so he opted for a winter snow session. He was a total trooper about the cold and I LOVE the results!

The M Children | A Fall Session

These three kiddos were SO much fun to work with. They each had their own ideas for the session and I loved it! Mom was going to sit this one out, but the kids and I convinced her to get in the frame. Moms…GET IN THE PICTURE!! They’re only little for a short time. You will NEVER regret having those memories. Even if it’s just a shot or two…DO IT!!

Miss G

I have had the opportunity to photograph this brave, adventurous young lady since she was just nine months old. I can't begin to tell you how amazing it is to watch these little ones grow up. The time is so fleeting and they change SO much from year to year...being able to capture these moments is priceless.
