The Nutcracker

This time of year always makes me think of The Nutcracker. My oldest daughter used to dance at Allegro Dance Arts and had small roles in our local production a few times. I have some very fond memories of helping the girls get ready and spending time with all the fantastic dance moms. Now that she’s grown, I really miss those days.

Last year marked the final performance from the Allegro Studio. I was fortunate to capture some of the beautiful dancers before their rehearsals. I’ve known some of these girls a long time, and watching them dance was a pleasure!

The M Family | A Fall Family Session

I was trying to figure out just how many years I have been photographing this family, and I lost track, but it’s been a LOT. I remember the first year. Their youngest was SO little, and he had me cracking up the whole time. Such a ham! Some things haven’t changed ;-)

All three children are growing into beautiful young adults. It’s hard to believe how the years have flown.

It has been an absolutely pleasure capturing their family pictures each year and being witness to their love. It’s an absolute honor!

Mini Sessions!

It’s that time of year again…time for Mini Sessions!

Two dates are available; the evening of Saturday October 13th, and the morning of Sunday October 19th. The Saturday evening location will be held just outside of Meadville, PA, near Woodcock, and the Sunday morning sessions will be held at Davenport Fruit Farm, just in time for apple season!

It’s always tough to predict the leaves, but since we already have some great color showing through, I am hoping it’s going to be a great year!

A Self-Love Session

Life can be HARD. Sometimes it can chew you up and spit you out, leaving you feeling less than great about yourself. It seems that women, especially, have been feeling the burden of the mental load, and often end up exhausted. There has been a rise in women who are booking self-love sessions, looking for a confidence boost and a bit of empowerment. Who doesn’t love that?!

This amazing woman sought me out to capture a time in her life that was full of change. An in-between, of sorts. We spent our time together chatting, laughing, and just FEELING. It was incredible! Every woman deserves to have an empowerment session that makes her feel BEAUTIFUL and STRONG.

Alayna | Senior Interview

Senior Mini Sessions!

Good news!!

The S Family | A Formal Family Session

I love how this family used mom's red dress as the anchor, and built the other outfits around it.

Miss G | A Fall Session

Watching a child grow is a remarkable experience! As a photographer, being able to capture a child's milestones and growth through the lens of a camera is truly an honor. It's amazing to see how much they can change in just a few short months or years, and it's a privilege to be able to document that growth through photography.

From their first days as a newborn to their first steps, and beyond, every moment is precious and worth capturing. As a photographer, it's important to build a relationship with the child and their family, so that they feel comfortable and relaxed during the session. This allows the child's personality and unique qualities to shine through in the photos.

As time goes on, it's incredible to see how the child's interests and passions evolve and develop. From playing with toys and games, to participating in sports, academics, various hobbies, or musical activities, each phase of their life is worth documenting.

One of the most rewarding aspects is being able to provide the family with a tangible way to remember those special moments. When parents look back at the photos, they can relive those memories and see how far their child has come.

I just love a sibling session. I have known these sisters for years. I have watched them grow into these beautiful, amazing young adults. When I found out I was going to be doing a sister session for them, I was SO excited! We had a beautiful day for it, too. Take a look!

Ella | A Senior Session

Oh Ella. Ella came to me for her senior session, and she was just SO sweet and such a natural in front of the camera! I had a great time with her and her mom and could have spent all evening hanging out with them!!

C + J | An Engagement Session

When Claudia reached out to me about doing her engagement session, I was SO excited! I hadn’t seen her in a couple years, but we used to go to the same gym and I always loved the push she gave me during workouts. She’s such a great person!!

The weather messed with us a bit and caused us to have to reschedule, but then we ended up with an amazing day! C + J…thank you so much for choosing me to capture your engagement session!

The H Family | An Equine Session

I’ve been quite excited to share this session. Having grown up with horses, they have a special place in my heart, so when this mom approached me about doing a special session with her girls and their four-legged beauties, I was more than happy to oblige!

S + R | A Maternity Session

I was SO excited for the opportunity to photograph S + R as they awaited the arrival of the new bundle of joy! We met on a nice spring day and they even brought their fur baby, which I love so much! It was fun watching them all interact together. I know S + R are going to be amazing parents!!

The C Family | A Winter Family Session

Check out the adorable C family! It might have been cold out, but it’s nothing some snuggles can’t handle. Miss R was such a great big sister as she tried to warm up little E. It was just the SWEETEST!! It was so nice to meet this lovely family and have the chance to capture them!!

The L Family | A Christmas Session

How adorable is this family?! The Harper Event Venue made for the perfect backdrop for this family’s Christmas Session. Mom brought along some adorable little props and had a vision to go along with them. Miss H lit up the camera with her smiles and faces. I couldn’t get enough!!

The K Family | A Family Session

Well, this fall really proved to be a challenging one. While I had to reschedule many sessions, this one won for most times rescheduled. I felt SO bad for this family. The weather and sickness got in the way time and time again. We FINALLY ended up getting together, and it was an absolutely beautiful day, too!

The M Family | A Winter Family Session

I can’t even tell you how great it was to work with the M family again, after years and distance kept us apart! I hadn’t even met the twins yet!! When mom reached out to me about doing a session, I was SO pumped. I couldn’t wait to see them all! We had a BEAUTIFUL winter day for it and met at a local Christmas Tree Farm.
