I met C + T at a gorgeous location about an hour away from here. The rain and storms had been off and on all day, so we were a bit nervous about what the weather had in store for us. We decided to chance it and meet, anyway, and it ended up being SO beautiful and perfect!
These two are particularly special to me because they are my brother-in-law and sister-in-law! They were preparing to welcome their first-born into the world and asked me to capture these moments for them. I was thrilled!!

A College Senior Session!
I had this amazing young woman reach out to me about doing a College senior/graduation session with her and her friends. We met on a gorgeous morning and had a great time together! ALL of these young adults are truly wonderful people. The world needs more humans like them! I’ll try not to go too crazy sharing them, but I loved them all, so it will be a challenge. Enjoy!
C + J | An Engagement Session
When Claudia reached out to me about doing her engagement session, I was SO excited! I hadn’t seen her in a couple years, but we used to go to the same gym and I always loved the push she gave me during workouts. She’s such a great person!!

The H Family | An Equine Session
I’ve been quite excited to share this session. Having grown up with horses, they have a special place in my heart, so when this mom approached me about doing a special session with her girls and their four-legged beauties, I was more than happy to oblige!

S + R | A Maternity Session
I was SO excited for the opportunity to photograph S + R as they awaited the arrival of the new bundle of joy! We met on a nice spring day and they even brought their fur baby, which I love so much! It was fun watching them all interact together. I know S + R are going to be amazing parents!!
The D Family | A Spring Family Session
This was the second time I had photographed this sweet family, but only the first time with their new little love!! I was so excited to meet him! We had a beautiful day, for sure. I just love the way they all interact! Check them out!
LUKE | A Senior Session
I had the pleasure of meeting up with Luke for his senior pictures this spring. We were lucky enough to have an absolutely GORGEOUS day. He wanted some urban shots, so we found a local spot that worked perfectly. He is now off to school for sports broadcasting and I know he will be amazing! Join me in wishing Luke the best of luck!
Laurel + Mark | An Elopement
When Laurel reached out to me about photographing their elopement, I was pumped! While weddings aren’t on my list of specialties, I DO love a good elopement!
It was small and intimate. And the perfect, romantic, snowy day! I am so thrilled that I was able to capture this time for them!!
The W Family | An Extended Family Session
We all know how precious time with family is, especially when the family lives on the other side of the globe. The W family took advantage of some recent time together to capture the WHOLE family! It was chilly, but such a beautiful day. How sweet are all the cousins together, too? I’m so thankful they put their trust in me to capture this treasured time together.
Anthony | Senior Team
It’s really hard to believe that those who were part of my 2022 Senior Team will be graduating soon! The time has gone by so quickly and I am so excited to hear about the great things that each one of them accomplishes. Anthony is no exception. I have known him since he was just a small child. The accomplishments I am most proud of is getting accepted into multiple colleges and good grades.
What piece of advice would you give to upcoming seniors?:
Savor every moment with everyone. It will go quick and will creep up on you if you aren’t ready.
What was your favorite part of being a KRP Real Senior?:
My favorite part was collaborating with a great group of people over the year.
The M Family | A Family Session
While I was in North Carolina a couple months ago, I was able to meet with this sweet little family for some Christmas pictures!! I couldn’t get over their cute jammies! How adorable are they?!
The C Family | A Urban Family Session
Anyone who knows me, knows that this is one of my favorite families ever. I have known S for about 20 years now. We worked in the same building and enjoyed many lunch-time coffee runs, shopping trips, and shared sandwiches at the Renaissance Cafe. Our friendship grew and grew over time. We were due with our boys only two weeks apart. We have been through so much together and she truly is the sister I never had.
Her sweet family moved to North Carolina several years ago and, although we have seen each other briefly a few times, this was the first time since they moved that we were able to spend an entire weekend (and then some!!) together. All 10 of us!! During the trip, OF COURSE I had to grab some family pictures!
Downtown Winston-Salem made for a gorgeous backdrop and I am SO pumped about how these turned out!!
The C Family | A Winter Family Session
Check out the adorable C family! It might have been cold out, but it’s nothing some snuggles can’t handle. Miss R was such a great big sister as she tried to warm up little E. It was just the SWEETEST!! It was so nice to meet this lovely family and have the chance to capture them!!
The L Family | A Christmas Session
How adorable is this family?! The Harper Event Venue made for the perfect backdrop for this family’s Christmas Session. Mom brought along some adorable little props and had a vision to go along with them. Miss H lit up the camera with her smiles and faces. I couldn’t get enough!!

The K Family | A Family Session
Well, this fall really proved to be a challenging one. While I had to reschedule many sessions, this one won for most times rescheduled. I felt SO bad for this family. The weather and sickness got in the way time and time again. We FINALLY ended up getting together, and it was an absolutely beautiful day, too!
Breathe In Yoga
Who doesn’t need a little zen in their life? I know I sure do! As someone who has really only done yoga in the privacy of her own home (save for a couple random classes here and there), it’s a bit out of my comfort zone to actually go and attend a class in person. It can be quite intimidating!! Well, I decided to get over my nerves and attend one of Terra’s morning classes. When I first entered the room, I was met with warmth, soothing light, and essential oils. It was SO comforting!! Class started, and Terra did a great job of easing everyone into the routine. I never felt out of place or judged. She encouraged everyone to only do what they felt their bodies could handle, but gave us the space to attempt things if we felt so inclined.
If you’ve thought about giving yoga a try, but are a bit intimidated, I would highly recommend trying Breathe In Yoga. She offers beginner’s yoga, as well as Vinyasa, a Slow Flow, and more! The M Family | A Winter Family Session
I can’t even tell you how great it was to work with the M family again, after years and distance kept us apart! I hadn’t even met the twins yet!! When mom reached out to me about doing a session, I was SO pumped. I couldn’t wait to see them all! We had a BEAUTIFUL winter day for it and met at a local Christmas Tree Farm. I had such a great time with them. Check out the images!!
Erin + Family | A Foster Session
Oh Erin. Where do I start?? I have known Erin for many years. She went to school with my brothers, but I didn’t know her all that well. Fast forward (more years than I’d like to admit), and we were reacquainted at the gym. I am SO thankful I had that time to learn what an absolutely AMAZING human being this woman is. She has one of the most genuine, beautiful souls you can imagine. Oh, and she’s pretty damn funny, too.
Not only is Erin a great friend, but she is also a great parent. You see, she gives her heart to some really special children by being a foster mom. It brings tears to my eyes when I think about what she gives these children every day. She is truly incredible!!!
