EVA | KRP Real Senior

One of my favorite things about my KRP Seniors is getting to know them. A couple years ago, I started doing these senior interviews so you all could get to know them, too! I love that they’re starting this amazing journey into adulthood and really coming into their own. Today, meet Eva!!

What high school do you attend?:

Meadville Area Senior High

I will be attending Allegheny College!

What are your post-high school plans? If you've chosen a school, what will your major be?:

While attending Allegheny I plan to major in Biology and will continue playing softball. After Allegheny I plan to get a doctorate in Physical Therapy. My goal is to become a Pediatric Physical Therapist.

Which accomplishments are you most proud of this year?:

I am proud of getting accepted to all 12 colleges I applied to and maintain straight A’s.

What piece of advice would you give to upcoming seniors?:

Apply to college early and make the most of everyday, the year flies by!

What was your favorite part of being a KRP Real Senior?:

My favorite part of be a KRP Real Senior was how fun the sessions were and how relaxed Kelly made them.

Family Love | A Fall Family Session

I ADORE these humans! Being presented with the opportunity to capture their amazing family made me SO happy. Do you ever have those people that come into your life and just make it BETTER? For me, that is this couple. They are genuinely wonderful people, and each one of them has a beautiful soul and so much to offer the world. Plus, check out how stunning they all are?! STAHHHHP!

Miss G | A Fall Session

I have had the immense pleasure of photographing Miss G each year since she was just a wee baby. It’s always so amazing to watch them grow and change. Now Miss G is a beautiful young lady with an amazing spirit! I just love it!

Bryce | KRP Real Senior

Wrapping up my seniors is always bittersweet. Over the course of the year, I get to meet some fabulous young adults and get to learn cool things about them. Then, suddenly, they’re off to the real world to begin adulting. I figure, if I am feeling this way, I can’t even imagine what their parents are feeling! GAHH! It was a lot of fun getting to know Bryce this year. He was the lone male on the KRP Senior Team, and he brought a really great energy to the sessions! MEADVILLE SENIOR HIGH

PIA (Pennsylvania institute of Aeronautics) or possibly Edinboro University

What are your post-high school plans? If you've chosen a school, what will your major be?:

I plan to attend a technical school PIA (Pennsylvania Institute of Aeronautics) for welding. I would like to pursue a career in building and designing aircraft.

Which accomplishments are you most proud of this year?:

It's hard to list my accomplishments in such a strange time. I guess I'm proud that I've kept a positive attitude and conquered hybrid learning. I'm also proud to be a mentor to underclassman through LINK CREW. Of course I'm proud of my work at Votech in welding. I hope everyday that we will have a Volleyball season this year so we can defend our state championship title.

What piece of advice would you give to upcoming seniors?:

Enjoy every moment of your senior year. as the class of 2021 missed out on so much...

What was your favorite part of being a KRP Real Senior?:

Photo shoots with Kelly. And how excited my mom got discussing my outfit choices, and locations.

The M Family | A Fall Family Session

For this year’s family session, the M family had a new member! I was SO excited when they asked me if they could bring their new puppy to include in the shoot. I mean, how flipping cute is this guy?! He looked like a toy! I couldn’t get enough of this sweet family and their new baby!

Kayla | KRP Real Senior

Kayla was one of the awesome members of the KRP Senior Team, representing the class of 2021. I LOVE getting to know my seniors, and these fun little exit interviews help YOU get to know them as well! Meet….KAYLA!!

What high school do you attend?:

I attend Meadville Area Senior High School!

I’ve been accepted to Slippery Rock University and plan on attending there!

What are your post-high school plans? If you've chosen a school, what will your major be?: 

As of right now, my post-high school plans consist of attending Slippery Rock University to pursue a degree in psychology. After I complete my masters degree I plan on becoming a children’s psychologist.

Which accomplishments are you most proud of this year?:

Some of the accomplishments that I’m most proud of are being accepted to my top two schools, maintaining the grades I typically have despite the hardships we are all going through with the virus, and becoming a cheer captain!

What piece of advice would you give to upcoming seniors?:

When I was a freshman, I remember all of the seniors telling me “enjoy high school while you’re here because it goes by in the blink of an eye.” When hearing this, I didn’t think much of it because I had what felt like a lifetime of work ahead of me. Now, I’m a senior, the year is almost halfway over, and I already miss it. So, my advice for upcoming seniors is, if you haven’t cherished your high school years, try to cherish your senior year as much as possible.

What was your favorite part of being a KRP Real Senior?:

My favorite parts of being a KRP Real Senior was being around Kelly and her bubbly personality and the overall positive environment she gave off.

Mr. E | A Lifestyle Newborn Session

This family lovingly welcomed the sweet bundle of joy back in August and I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful Mr. E when he was just a week old. Mr. E was a dream, and big brother and sister are huge helpers. I am so thankful I was able to witness all this love!

Natalie | KRP Real Senior

I met with Natalie for her senior session, and instantly learned that she and her family are amazing! We had such a great time talking and laughing. Natalie is a pretty incredible young woman, and I know she will do great things!

A Summer Maternity Session

I met with this gorgeous family one evening, to capture their last moments as a family of four, before welcoming their precious addition. Mom was absolutely radiant, and I couldn’t get enough of the combination of her and the beautiful light! Mama, you are a beautiful soul and I am SO thankful for the opportunity to capture you and your family, once again!!

Miss L | A Summer Session

Miss L is a radiant, vibrant young lady who is so much fun to watch! During our time together, she was spinning and jumping and swinging! Her energy and light are just beautiful!!

Miss K | A Dance Session

Miss K is yet another dancer who missed out on competitions and recitals this year, due to COVID. She did not, however, miss out on the opportunity to get some fabulous photos done!! How amazing is she?!

Her beautiful cousin even popped in for some shots!

The P Family | An Extended Family Session

The lovely P family reached out to me about getting some pictures of their extended family while they were all in town. We had an absolutely beautiful day for this gorgeous family!

Miss H | Dance Session

Miss H was an absolute DOLL during her dance session! She may have missed out on recital, but she brought ALL that sass during the session, and I loved every second of it!!

The D Family | A Summer Family Session

Could this family be any sweeter?! We met one gorgeous summer day to capture these moments while their girls are little. As we all know, time FLIES by. It’s so great to have these memories documented. We spent some time by the water before moving to their beautiful yard. The girls were so much fun and I am so excited about the shots we were able to get!

Shelby + O | A Mother Daughter Session

Shelby and I have a unique relationship. We met because she cared for my youngest for nearly four years. It’s not easy to place your trust in someone else to look after your child, but Shelby always made sure to put Gray’s best interests first. For that, I will be forever thankful.

Shelby now has a little one of her own! I had the pleasure of capturing their special connection in honor of Miss O’s second birthday! We had a beautiful day for it, and O was a trooper, despite feeling sleepy near the end. We were able to get some really great shots and I am SO glad we had the chance to do this!

These sweet dancers might have missed out on their recital because of the ‘rona, but their awesome mom made sure to get their dance pictures done, anyhow! Aren’t these talented little ladies adorable?

Lauren | Dance Session

I met Lauren for a dance session, despite the lack of recital this year. She wanted to commemorate her first year signing up for the competition team. She absolutely crushed this session!

Carleigh | KRP Real Senior

THIS GIRL. I had the pleasure of capturing her senior pictures on a beautiful, sunny afternoon. Not only is she a knockout, but she is an incredibly beautiful dancer! She absolutely knocked this session out of the park. I can’t EVEN! I know she’s going to do great things in life. I can’t wait to watch her soar!

Kendra | KRP Real Senior

Miss Kendra was hoping for a senior session while the snow was falling. We absolutely lucked out on this one!! We had planned the session ahead of time, not expecting snow. Mother Nature decided to help us out and throw some snow our way RIGHT in time for the session! BOOM! Beautiful!

The G Family | A Family Session

I met this wonderful family one fall day for some family pictures. I first met this mama and her girls when our oldest girls were just in kindergarten. It’s hard to believe it’s been that long! Time flies. Now, her girls have grown into beautiful young women. It was such a pleasure having the opportunity to photograph them. Enjoy this little sampling of our time together!!
